Job Summary

Primary responsibility is to perform vehicle troubleshooting, repair and maintenance work on chassis and track mounted aerials, digger derricks, cranes, high rail, and other equipment, in accordance with dealer and factory standards, in the field. Read and interpret manuals and repair orders, access diagnostic information via laptop, perform diagnostics, and complete repairs efficiently and accurately. Diagnoses and repairs LMI Diagnostics and CAN bus systems; works with electrical, hydraulic, and related components. Travel to customer sites and/or service centers as needed; communicate with customers and internal departments to minimize equipment downtime. Attends CTOS safety training and factory-sponsored training; adheres to safety requirements. Must have flexibility to travel beyond the area of coverage. Requires bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, suitable for outdoor conditions; must possess strong manual dexterity and problem-solving skills. Qualifications mention High School diploma or GED, five years of related experience, valid driver's license (CDL Class B preferred), ability to work with tools, and proficiency with documentation and diagnostic procedures. Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Five years of related experience (Shop Tech and Field Tech)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license (CDL Class B preferred)
  • Must have your own tools
  • Proficient in documentation using software, meeting deadlines and schedules
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and repair orders/instructions
  • Experience troubleshooting and repair of utility trucks & equipment including electrical and hydraulics
  • DOT, ANSI, and Dielectric testing desired
  • Overtime and travel as needed
