Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy demolition and construction equipment in the field, including excavators, dozers, and material handlers. Perform diagnostics on hydraulic, diesel, electrical, and undercarriage systems while executing preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs. Coordinate with operations teams to prioritize site repairs, maintain accurate service records, and perform welding or fabrication as needed. Travel regularly across Maryland and Northern Virginia to support active projects, ensuring equipment uptime and safety compliance. Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience repairing heavy equipment, construction equipment, demolition equipment, or related machinery
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel diagnostic abilities
- Experience working on excavators and earthmoving equipment
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and diagnostic information
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to travel regularly to project sites throughout Maryland, Northern Virginia, and surrounding areas
