Job Summary
Maintain, diagnose, and repair diverse diesel trucks and equipment remotely by dispatching service vehicles to customer locations. Perform maintenance on heavy equipment and trailers while troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems independently. Requires 4+ years of field experience, a valid driver's license, and basic hand tools. Earn $30-$40/hour with a $1500 sign-on bonus, profit sharing, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and 401K matching. Work day shifts Monday through Friday starting at 7 AM with overtime available. MasterTech offers boot and tool reimbursement, a company cell phone, and gas cards for this Tyler, TX resident role.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic (diesel trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, etc.)
- Experience working in the field
- Able to work independently
- Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Able to pass pre-employment background checks
- Has basic to full set of hand tools
Desired Qualifications
- Education from an accredited Technical School
- CDL
