Job Summary
Maintain, diagnose, and repair a diverse line of diesel trucks and equipment for remote service vehicles taken home. Perform maintenance on diesel trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment while working independently in the field. Utilize a full set of hand tools to service vehicles dispatched remotely to the Orangeburg SC area. Earn $30.00 to $40.00 per hour with a $1500 sign-on bonus, plus quarterly profit sharing and 401K matching. Receive a field service vehicle, gas card, and company cell phone. Work day shifts Monday through Friday starting at 7 AM, with overtime available.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic (diesel trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, etc.)
- Experience working in the field
- Able to work independently
- Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Able to pass pre-employment background checks
- Has basic to full set of hand tools
Desired Qualifications
- Education from an accredited Technical School
- CDL
