Job Summary
The Field Service Mechanic is responsible for maintaining excellent customer relations by providing prompt and efficient service for new and used equipment. Duties include diagnosing malfunctions, performing repairs, inspecting machines upon delivery, and reporting necessary information to the Service Supervisor. Strong communication skills, basic computer skills, and physical capability for lifting are required. Candidates should have some vocational training in hydraulics and diesel engines, along with three years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
- Must be DOT certifiable (Must be 21 years of age to be DOT certified)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Additional Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age to be DOT certified
- Occasionally stay overnight at out-of-town locations
