Job Summary

Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on heavy-duty diesel trucks, trailers, forklifts, and tree service equipment across the greater KY, TN, and GA areas. Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools to improve engine efficiency, prioritize work orders, and maintain proper service records through fleet maintenance software. Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, brake, electrical, cooling, steering, and hydraulic systems while ensuring compliance with established safety protocols. Read technical manuals, communicate with field crews, and provide preventative maintenance training. Maintain systems for receipt and invoice management to facilitate accurate expense reporting. Available for emergency callouts, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed, with a valid driver's license and willingness to obtain a CDL B permit.

Required Qualifications

  • Clear, valid driver's license
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • High school diploma
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in automotive/diesel services
  • Must be able to perform duties on shifts throughout a standard 8- or 10-hour day
  • Must be available for emergency callout including holidays and weekends or work call outs
  • Must pass pre-employment screening (Substance screening and background check)
  • Must pass Motor Vehicle Record Check (MVR)
  • Must pass DOT Compliance screenings
  • English language ability
  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds

Desired Qualifications

  • CDL A or B
  • Associates degree or certification in diesel technology
  • Continued education needs to be demonstrated
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Willingness to invest in growth by preparing and meeting timely goals to obtain CDL B permit
  • Willingness to perform assignments to satisfy DOT requirements for CDL B
  • Ability to obtain CDL B within 90 days through company provided educational program
