Job Summary
Field Service Mechanic responsible for repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting pumps, blowers, motors, and controls; perform equipment start-up commissioning and training; document work clearly; build positive relationships with customers, coworkers, and suppliers; adhere to safety policies; participate in on-call after-hours service; frequent day travel throughout upstate NY with some overnight travel; requires hands-on mechanical/electrical aptitude, strong communication, teamwork, and ability to work independently. Training provided via company-paid factory programs; ESOP employee-ownership environment emphasizes ownership culture.
Required Qualifications
- High school education; mechanical and/or electrical background required
- Minimum 2 years of pump or other rotating equipment maintenance & repair experience preferred
- Ability to pass background and reference checks; drug test
- Active REAL ID compliant driver’s license with a clean driving record, or a valid U.S. passport, as required for access to federal facilities
- Complete company-paid factory training
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, 100 lbs. assisted
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to work in-shop and in field; travel across upstate NY
