Job Summary
Field Service Leader responsible for ensuring footprint retention and increased customer satisfaction through prompt and efficient resolution of customer problems throughout the life of the machine. Responsibilities include customer support, field project planning, account management, installation support, training material development, and leading a field service team; requires strong communication, problem-solving, and technical skills with PLC, servo motor controls, and HMI controls, plus ability to read blueprints/schematics and manage projects and invoicing. The role emphasizes coordinating with internal teams, maintaining safety standards, and delivering proactive solutions to improve equipment reliability and performance across installations.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated successful experience in PLC, servo motor controls and HMI controls is required
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics; interpret complicated specifications
- Experience in troubleshooting electromechanical machinery and providing technical support to customers
- Strong leadership and project management skills; ability to lead and supervise field service team
- Ability to manage customer relationships and service; meet customer demands
- Knowledge of installation, operation, maintenance and repair of company produced machinery
