Field Service Lead Technician

Field Service Lead Technician at JBT Marel will plan and coordinate the work of service technicians in the assigned region (Alamo / Martinez de la Torre, Veracruz, MX) to ensure preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of JBT Marel citrus processing equipment (rented or under service contract). Responsibilities include ensuring timely supply of spare parts and extraction components, inventory control in customer-site warehouses, participating in installation projects, and commissioning new plants or citrus production systems. The role also covers coordinating service activities, training service staff in the regional zone, performing maintenance, communicating potential equipment issues to the Regional Service Manager, reporting replenishment needs, and ensuring inventory reliability and accurate counts. Additional duties include maintaining General Maintenance System (GMS) software, ensuring internet access and software updates, adhering to safety policies, completing training for apprentices and service technicians, and supporting onboarding and staff development. Qualifications emphasize mechatronics or electrical engineering background, food processing plant experience, leadership experience with at least 1 year of people supervision, strong communication, client-facing skills, and English proficiency is valued.
