Field Service Foreman – Turbomachinery & Rotating Equipment

Job Summary
Field Service Foreman to lead rotating equipment maintenance, outages, installation, inspection, and commissioning across customer sites in TX, LA, and beyond. Will direct millwrights and subcontractors, supervise disassembly/inspection/repair/reassembly/installation of turbomachinery (steam and gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, pumps, gearboxes, expanders), ensure OEM specifications and safety standards, coordinate with project managers and customers, oversee precision alignment and commissioning, and manage field documentation and quality control. Requires 5+ years in field service for turbomachinery, 2+ years in supervisory roles, familiarity with multiple OEM equipment, strong measurement/shaft alignment expertise, ability to read OEM manuals and drawings, and willingness to travel extensively including non-standard hours. TWIC preferred; valid driver’s license; strong leadership and customer-facing skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of field service experience supporting turbomachinery and rotating equipment
- Minimum 2+ years of experience leading field crews as a Foreman, Lead Millwright, Lead Mechanic, or equivalent supervisory role
- Demonstrated experience with steam turbines, gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and related rotating equipment
- Experience working with equipment manufactured by major OEMs (e.g., Baker Hughes, Siemens Energy, GE Vernova, Mitsubishi Power, Solar Turbines, Elliott Group, MAN Energy Solutions, Dresser-Rand, Atlas Copco)
- Strong knowledge of precision measurement, shaft alignment, and rotating equipment overhaul practices
- Ability to read and interpret OEM manuals, engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Strong communication, leadership, and customer-facing skills
- Ability to travel extensively to customer facilities across Texas, Louisiana, and the United States
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime per project requirements
- Pre-employment DISA drug screening and hair follicle testing requirements
- TWIC card preferred; must be eligible to obtain/maintain TWIC as required
