Job Summary
Field Service Foreman to lead rotating equipment and turbomachinery maintenance, outage, installation, inspection, and commissioning activities at customer sites across Texas, Louisiana, and the United States. The role oversees field crews during overhauls and equipment installation, ensures safety, schedules, and quality, and provides technical leadership on steam turbines, gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and expanders. Travel to customer facilities is required; coordination with project managers and technical advisors is essential, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and compliance with OEM specifications.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of field service experience with turbomachinery and rotating equipment
- Minimum 2+ years leading field crews as Foreman/Lead Millwright/Lead Mechanic or equivalent supervisory role
- Experience with steam turbines, gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, pumps, gearboxes, expanders
- Experience with OEMs such as Baker Hughes, Siemens Energy, GE Vernova, Mitsubishi Power, Solar Turbines, Elliott Group, MAN Energy Solutions, Dresser-Rand, Atlas Copco
- Strong knowledge of precision measurement, shaft alignment, and rotating equipment overhaul practices
- Ability to read OEM manuals, engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Strong communication, leadership, and customer-facing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams)
- Must be willing and able to travel extensively to customer facilities
- Able to support outages, turnarounds, and emergency response work
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- DISA drug screening requirements; DISA hair follicle testing requirements
- TWIC card preferred; ability to obtain and maintain TWIC as required by customer facilities
