Job Summary
Maintain, repair, and optimize Reverse Vending Machines at customer sites while installing and commissioning new recycling technology. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues through preventative maintenance and reactive repairs, then accurately record service activities using digital tools. Travel throughout your region to support customers, occasionally staying overnight, while building strong relationships and adhering to strict safety standards. This rotating schedule includes flexibility for shift or weekend work as the team scales ahead of the Deposit Return Scheme launch in October 2027.
Required Qualifications
- A solid foundation in electro-mechanical systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexibility to travel and manage your own schedule in a field-based role
- Comfortable working using power tools/hands tools both independently and as part of a wider, supportive team
- A curious and solution-oriented mindset
- Strong attention to detail
- A customer-focused approach
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Occasional shift or weekend work
- Rotating schedule (rota-based)
