Job Summary
Perform on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment by troubleshooting problems and utilizing electromechanical skills to resolve tool-related challenges. Read detailed electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and engineering diagrams while comprehending test equipment including meters and hand tools. Execute maintenance tasks requiring physical effort such as walking up to five miles daily, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds in confined spaces or at heights. Travel domestically or internationally to factories, training facilities, and customer locations 80% of the time. Requires a valid driver's license and solid experience in electronic and mechanical troubleshooting within the semiconductor industry.
Required Qualifications
- Electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Maintenance Technician skills with solid experiences in resolving tool related challenges
- AS/BS or equivalent military
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to walk up to 5+miles per day
- Ability to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time
- Ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to work on a ladder
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- 80% - domestic or occasional international travel
- 60%-80% domestic or occasional international travel/and or occasional overnight travel to the factory, training facilities, and customer locations
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship
