Job Summary
Field Service Engineer to provide on-site field service for installation, startup, and commissioning of WEG Motors, perform routine maintenance, assist with motor repairs and warranty evaluations, and coordinate with an Authorized Service Center. Responsibilities include thorough on-site documentation with photos and drawings, writing comprehensive field service reports, setting expectations for follow-up activities with customers and internal teams, and promoting spare parts and maintenance programs. Requires 3+ years of related experience; high school diploma or GED required with Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Demonstrates understanding of industrial applications and customers' processes, and strong customer service skills to maintain a positive corporate image. Will travel to customer sites as needed; must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. We offer equal opportunity employment.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED required
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred
- 3+ years of related experience
- Knowledge / training: Installation, Commissioning and Troubleshooting of Electric Motors
- Knowledge / training: Commissioning of Lube Oil Systems
- Knowledge / training: Use of Vibration Analyzer
- Demonstrate ability to document on-site conditions and write field service reports
- Ability to coordinate with Authorized Service Center in the USA
- Strong customer service skills and ability to project a positive corporate image
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
