Job Summary
Field Service Engineer responsible for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of Wabtec systems on rolling stock. Requires hands-on ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems, read mechanical/electrical/pneumatic diagrams, perform installation, commissioning, testing, retrofit, regular maintenance, and emergency repairs. Responsibilities include field complaint resolution, reporting/documentation of interventions, NCR and spare parts management, customer interaction, and travel across India to various sites. Requires travel willingness, adherence to safety/quality/compliance standards, and collaboration with multiple departments. Education/Training: degree or diploma in Mechanical / Electrical & electronics; professional experience of 5+ years in field service in transportation railways or lifts/escalators; strong troubleshooting, documentation, and MS Office skills; English and Hindi proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical & electronics
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar Field Service role (preferred transportation railways or lifts and escalators)
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in reading circuit diagrams
- English speaking and writing proficiency
