Field Service Engineer

Job Summary
Field Service Engineer responsible for installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of VAT vacuum valves on-site or in internal workshop; respond to customer calls, remote session, or site visits; report activities with customer signature; maintain good communication with customers at various levels; liaise with customers and internal stakeholders on technical and service issues; conduct customer support meetings and follow up on open issues and complaints; provide quality information Collection and root-cause analysis reports; support customers for urgent requests on weekends/holidays; advise on spare parts, preventive maintenance, and retrofit possibilities; willing to travel frequently and work irregular hours; require mechanical or electronic background with at least a college degree and 3 years of service experience in Cleanroom/semiconductor vacuum environments; able to communicate in English and Chinese, with additional language proficiency a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical or electronic background with college degree or above
- Minimum 3 years of service experience in Cleanroom environment (Semiconductor or vacuum industry is preferred)
- Strong skill of diagnosing, repairing and troubleshooting
- Strong business acumen and ability to identify opportunities within problems
- Be able to work independently under pressure and irregular hours
- Personal accountability, team player
- Good communication and interpersonal skill
- Goal achievement
- Willing and able to travel frequently within short notice
- Able and comfortable to communicate in English, Chinese. And 1 other additional language is a plus. ( Japanese or Korean )
