Job Summary
Develop manufacturing documentation, optimize assembly workflows, and ensure product quality and compliance by creating Sequence of Events and modifying work instructions. Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to production staff while planning and coordinating the Manufacturing Engineer portion of system builds. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and vendors to streamline build procedures, resolve technical issues, and implement engineering changes. Inspect completed systems to ensure conformance with design specifications and safety standards, investigating issues to recommend corrective actions. Assist in cost estimations and capital planning for new equipment and major repairs. This role supports project production efforts to deliver efficient, safe, and high-quality outcomes within a high-technology semiconductor environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science/ Bachelor of Arts degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Manufacturing, or related field
- Associate of Arts (AA) in a technical field
- 5+ years related experience in high-technology manufacturing
- Experience in semiconductor capital equipment or related industry
- Working knowledge of quick-turn, engineer-to-order environment
Desired Qualifications
- Lean Manufacturing Principles
- Six Sigma Greenbelt
- Familiarity with semiconductor capital equipment
- Knowledge of electronic Work Instruction software
- ERP System Software
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite, emphasis in Excel
- Prior experience leading small teams to achieve project success
- Good interpersonal skills: ability to work alone or in a team environment
