Job Summary
Field Service Engineer needed to support South England with hands-on installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of sensor-based sorting technologies in TOMRA's Recycling install base. The role emphasizes delivering excellent customer experiences, system optimization, and identifying opportunities to expand TOMRA products and services. Strong technical understanding across mechanical, electrical, and software domains, plus customer-focused communication and the ability to work with diagnostics tools and software. Apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (ONC/HNC or equivalent preferred) and a valid UK driving license are required. Ideally located within a 60-mile radius of London. Flexible working arrangements and benefits are offered.
Required Qualifications
- Apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (ONC/HNC or equivalent preferred)
- Strong problem-solving mindset with good technical understanding (mechanical, electrical and software)
- Comfortable working with software, systems, and diagnostics tools
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
- Valid UK driving license
