Job Summary
Provide highest quality repair and maintenance service for company and third-party products to customers in the Newark/Lincoln/Mansfield/Worksop area, including emergency lights, fire systems, and electrical/electronic equipment. Maintain and test a variety of products while demonstrating exceptional customer relations with vulnerable and elderly clients. Work remotely using a company vehicle and fuel card, covering the specified region with full Category B UK driving license. Requires NVQ Level 2 electrical/electronic qualification, experience testing fire systems, and comfort working at heights or in confined dusty spaces.
Required Qualifications
- proven experience as a Field Engineer
- electrical and electronic experience
- experience maintaining or testing Emergency Lights
- experience maintaining or testing Fire Systems
- experience maintaining or testing a variety of electrical/electronic products
- An Electrical/Electronic qualification at NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
- Full Category B UK driving license (for manual vehicles)
- Experience of testing Fire Systems
- Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Good problem solving and analytical skills
- Able to demonstrate effective team working
- Effective time management & planning skills
- Comfortable working at heights and/or in confined dusty spaces
- Experience of working with the elderly or vulnerable
