Job Summary

Field Service Engineer responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting UPS and power equipment in data center environments, traveling regionally and nationwide to customer sites for deployments, maintenance, and emergency response. Provides on-site and remote support, completes detailed service reports, tracks inventory, and educates customers on system operations while adhering to safety, cybersecurity standards, and compliance requirements. Requires 2+ years of experience with UPS/power systems, strong electrical knowledge, and the ability to work independently in diverse environments; travel is required. Preferred qualifications include a technical degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and certifications (OSHA 10/30, NFPA 70E). Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in UPS systems, power systems, or related technical field
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with batteries, UPS systems, and infrastructure maintenance
  • Ability to work independently in the field and manage time effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Comfortable with travel and working in various environments
  • Spanish-speaking ability (preferred)
  • Technical training or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field (preferred)
  • OSHA 10/30, NFPA 70E, Lockout/Tagout, First Aid/CPR (preferred)
