Field Service Engineer

Job Summary
Deliver high-quality mechanical field service to install, commission, and maintain TOMRA sorting systems; diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment across installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair stages; perform preventative maintenance to enhance machine performance; install and service components such as sprockets, chains, belts, shafts, bearings, gearboxes, motors, rollers, frames, and guarding; analyze and diagnose mechanical equipment, escalating as needed; maintain customer relationships with updates and collaboration with sales and CCC; uphold a strong safety culture and ensure customer satisfaction through clear communication and timely resolutions.
Required Qualifications
- Industrial trade qualification in mechanical, mechatronics, electrical, electronic, automation, or industrial manufacturing
- 3+ years of experience as a field service engineer or equivalent
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical or electrical equipment
- Knowledge of PLC
Additional Requirements
- Travel up to 40%
- Must have valid Driver's License
- Must be able to obtain a valid passport for travel
- Ability to lift up to 20 Kg
- No major food allergies
