Job Summary
Conduct field service activities including installation, commissioning, operation, testing, optimization, maintenance, and repair of TOMRA equipment. Diagnose and resolve technical issues through mechanical, electrical, electronic, and optical adjustments while providing customer training on system operation. Deliver expert advice to maximize operational performance and reduce food waste, preparing accurate service reports and collaborating with internal teams. Travel up to 80% of the time primarily within Spain, with occasional international travel as required.
Required Qualifications
- Technical education in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in field service, industrial maintenance, or technical customer support
- Proven experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment
- Practical knowledge of analog and digital circuits, power supply systems, and PLCs. Required.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Good understanding of IT, networking, and PC configuration
- Fluent Spanish and a good command of English (minimum B2 level). Required.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time
