Job Summary
Field Service Engineer II to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Trace Elemental Analysis instruments (ICP-MS, AAS) at customer sites across NY/NJ with 50-75% travel; provide responsive technical support, train customers on equipment operation, document field service activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet service commitments and customer satisfaction goals. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor\'s degree in a technical field and 2+ years of hands-on experience with analytical instruments, strong electronics and mechanical troubleshooting skills, solid communication abilities, and the ability to operate in a field-based, customer-facing environment. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, have a valid driver\'s license, and be able to pass background checks and drug screening.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field
- 2+ years hands-on technical experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex analytical instruments
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
- Valid driver\'s license
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen
