Field Service Engineer

Job Summary
Coordinate territory service work including on-site installation, preventative maintenance, and emergency repair visits. Provide remote telephone assistance and manage time to ensure service calls are prioritized and completed. Travel on occasion to cover other regions across the US, averaging 50% overnight travel, and provide extended coverage when needed. Obtain and communicate leads while identifying post-instrument sales, upgrades, and consumables opportunities. Communicate product quality issues to appropriate persons and maintain timely documentation. Work closely with Territory Sales personnel and Field Applications Specialists to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Electro/Mechanical troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent customer facing skills
- About 50% overnight travel
- Ability to travel on short notice
- Valid Passport
- Previous Experience with electro-mechanical and automated systems
- Education equivalent of at least an associate's degree or previous experience in an engineering discipline
- Highly organized with excellent follow-up skills
- Self-motivated
- Team player
- Ability to travel on short notice

- Ideally to be based in or around Phoenix, Arizona covering the Southwest area
- Proximity to a major airport
- Previous experience of working with Liquid Handling products
- Strong customer focus
- Proactive approach to workload
