Job Summary
Field Service Engineer focusing on software for Varian Medical Systems equipment. You will perform maintenance and installation of OIS and TPS software products, instruct and support customers in system maintenance and basic operation, ensure systems are updated and functioning properly, and travel within the ASEAN region. Responsibilities include planning and managing service tasks, maintaining professional knowledge and safety, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective technical support and collaboration with customers. Skills sought include Windows operating systems, computer networking and virtualization, proficiency with MS Office and collaboration tools, strong communication, and a customer-centric approach.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in computer engineering, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Practical knowledge of computer architecture and networking
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based operating systems
- Understanding of computer networks and computer virtualization
- Minimum of three years of field service experience, preferably in the medical field
- Proficiency with Outlook, Microsoft Project, Visio, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
- Customer-centric and service-oriented mindset
- Articulate and capable of interpersonal communication
- Willingness to travel within the ASEAN region
