Field Service Engineer

Job Summary
Provide specialized on-site technical support for the installation, commissioning, diagnosis, maintenance, and optimization of sealing, lubrication, and filtration systems, ensuring the operational reliability of customer equipment and compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities include installation, commissioning, and alignment of mechanical seals and auxiliary systems; diagnosing failures in rotating equipment; responding to emergencies and unplanned shutdowns; conducting on-site inspections; performing preventive and corrective maintenance; validating installation conditions (alignment, tolerances, vibration); monitoring sealing system performance; proposing improvements to increase equipment service life; offering technical guidance on seal selection and application; training customer personnel and internal teams; and supporting startups and critical projects while adhering to API 682, ISO, and internal safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of field service experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering or related field
- Experience with rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, agitators)
- Experience in installation, inspection, or maintenance of mechanical components (ideally mechanical seals)
- Knowledge of API 682 and related safety standards
- Comfort interacting with customers on-site
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to train customer personnel and internal teams
