Job Summary
Execute field service activities for mechanical seals and rotating equipment, including on-site repairs, troubleshooting, shutdown support, and site surveys. Plan, execute, and monitor workshop operations while managing inventory initiatives and ensuring HSE/Quality standards. Conduct customer visits to install and repair systems, produce observation reports with analysis, and resolve complex equipment issues. Monitor global service contract KPIs, collaborate with stakeholders to eliminate operational bottlenecks, and maintain market presence within the assigned territory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience in engineering and field service, with a focus on mechanical seals and refinery rotating equipment
- Proven ability to perform effectively in proactive, multinational, and multicultural environments
- Strong technical knowledge of John Crane's product portfolio, or demonstrated ability to rapidly acquire deep product understanding if not already held
