Field Service Engineer

Job Summary
Provide technical support and advisory services to clients, monitor equipment in operation under a comprehensive service contract, and generate reports on pump train conditions. Deliver training to the client’s maintenance and operations personnel; manage the client account including inventory, material loading, tracking, MTBF management, and on-time delivery of mechanical seals. Conduct failure analysis of mechanical seals to inform engineering changes or client recommendations; follow up on orders through the supply chain and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies. Produce recommendations and technical improvement proposals based on data collected from equipment performance indicators and database/log records. Maintain clear documentation and communicate effectively with clients in English and Spanish.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 2 to 5 years of experience with rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines)
- At least 1 year of experience as a Field Technical Support Engineer or in a similar technical role
- Knowledge of mechanical seals
- Ability to understand and listen to customer needs
- Methodical and analytical mindset; ability to determine the right questions to ask users
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency
- Advanced Spanish proficiency
