Job Summary
Field Service Engineer role focusing on installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of Atlas Copco machinery across Slovak markets. Responsibilities include precise mechanical and electrical installation following safety protocols, leading commissioning with rigorous system checks and testing, delivering training and operational guidance to client personnel, executing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime, providing prompt technical support to customers, and documenting service activities for project delivery and continuous improvement. Requires multilingual communication (Slovak, Hungarian, English), valid electrical work certification, and a vocational qualification related to mechanics or electrical technology. Travel to diverse customer sites is expected, with an emphasis on independent, customer-focused service within an international team at a long-established Swedish industrial company.
Required Qualifications
- Native-level proficiency in Slovak and Hungarian
- intermediate English communication
- Valid certification to work with electrical devices (paragraph 21 or higher)
- Relevant vocational qualification (mechanist, electrician, mechatronic technician, or control/electrical technology)
- Experience with mechanical and electrical system assembly, diagnostics, and maintenance
- Willingness to travel frequently
- Strong organizational skills and customer focus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital documentation tools
