Job Summary
Complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications, and service repair needs on Beckman Coulter equipment, including providing technical training to customers and newer engineers. Maintain accurate service logs, order repair parts, and adhere to cycle times while utilizing business systems for service call planning. Communicate with internal and external customers to address unique needs and foster collaboration. This role supports the Automation and Chemistry teams in Sioux Falls, SD, with a fully remote setup covering South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, and Minnesota. Requires a valid driver's license and ability to travel 20% overnight. Hourly range is $34.00 - $37.00.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree (prefer technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering or related) or equivalent military experience or High School diploma with 3 years of experience
- 1-year experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation
- Ability to travel 20% overnight, within territory including Nebraska, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 50lb (tools, replacement parts, consumables etc.)
