Job Summary
Field Service Engineer responsible for planning, coordinating and executing preventive and corrective maintenance on SIG Combibloc line equipment, delivering operational and technical training to internal staff and external customers, performing mechanical adjustments, troubleshooting and repair of control systems, and promoting continuous improvement to line performance. Travel 100% with assignments to locations including Mexico and Canada; develop and present training materials in classroom and virtual environments; provide production support post-maintenance to restore line efficiency; install rebuilding kits and support escalation through the claims and quality processes. Requires an Engineering Associates degree (electrical or mechanical) and 6+ years of technical/machinery experience; experience in developing and delivering training programs; strong customer relations and communication skills. Required Qualifications
- Engineering Associates degree, preferably electrical or mechanical
- 6 plus years in technical/equipment/machinery experience preferably with SIG Combibloc Systems
- Involving all levels of complexity including trouble shooting on the above equipment
- Prior experience developing and delivering training programs
