Job Summary
Install, assemble, configure, and commission Diffusion semiconductor processing equipment, performing modifications, upgrades, and system integrations as required. Conduct checkout, calibration, testing, and validation to ensure operational readiness while troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and system-level issues to minimize downtime. Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and support customer sites with startups, repairs, and technical service activities. Maintain accurate service documentation and follow all safety, quality, and cleanroom protocols during installation and service. Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and customer teams to resolve technical issues, staying current on equipment specifications through ongoing training.
Required Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Technical experience with semiconductor equipment, electronics, electromechanical systems, or industrial machinery
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and procedures
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Excellent customer-facing communication and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel and support customer installations and service activities
- Ability to work in cleanroom and physically demanding environments
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship
- Must be able to walk up to 5+miles per day
- Must be able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time
- Must be able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces
- Must be able to work at heights, on a ladder
- Must be able to lift up to 50-75 pounds
