Job Summary
Field Engineer provides the front-line interface of ARxIUM systems to customers, performing installation, maintenance, repair, and modification of ARxIUM systems at customer facilities under minimal supervision; requires strong customer-focused communication, travel, and hands-on expertise with automation and PLCs. Responsible for software/hardware preventive and corrective maintenance, PLC coding refinements, coordinating downtime with facilities, and completing administrative tickets and reports; expects 7+ years of direct field service experience with electro-mechanical systems and extensive customer interaction. This role involves travel and on-site service at customer facilities, with a flexible work schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in a technical field including, but not limited to: mechanical, electrical, computer, biomedical
- 3 - 5 years experience programming Allen-Bradley PLCs
- Conveyor and Automation experience
- Engineering and Electrical experience
- 7+ years of direct field service (or equivalent) experience troubleshooting and repairing computerized electro-mechanical systems
- 7+ years of experience working in a service capacity with direct customer interaction
