Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, test, and modify actuators on-site while installing mechanical and electrical components, including retrofit adaptations. Complete accurate technical reports for every visit and utilize common test and calibration tools to read schematics for valves and digital control systems. Work in stressful situations with difficult clients focused on expeditious resolution, requiring a calm, problem-solving approach under pressure. Extensive travel is required, including overnight stays. Full valid driving license is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge of valves, actuators, and digital control systems
- Solid grasp of electronics, electrical, and fluid power principles
- Ability to read schematics and use calibration tools
- Hands-on experience in an engineering environment
- Willingness to travel extensively (overnight stays included)
- Technical experience and/or relevant knowledge of valves, actuators and digital control systems or related equipment
- Good understanding of basic electronics, electrical and fluid power theories
- Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics and utilization of common test and calibration tools
- Experience of working in a practical engineering environment
- Demonstrates the ability to work in stressful situations with difficult clients who are focused on an expeditious resolution
- Has a 'can do' attitude
- Full Valid Driving License
