Field Service Engineer (Regulated Industry)

Job Summary
Provide on-site field service for calibration and repair of laboratory equipment in a regulated life-sciences environment. Responsibilities include collecting and uploading service reports to CMMS, completing Field Service Reports, labeling assets, managing physical inventory, escorting vendors to ensure policy compliance, triaging instruments to determine repair feasibility, performing PM/Cal service, owning on-site work orders for client and non-client instrumentation, creating work requests in multiple CMMS systems, and assisting with installation or decommissioning. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Sciences or Engineering and at least five years of relevant experience; strong technical writing, MS Office proficiency, CMMS (Maximo) experience, and knowledge of GMP/GDP/ISO standards; excellent interpersonal, documentation, and independent-work capabilities; physical ability to perform job duties in a potentially demanding field environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Sciences or Engineering
- Minimum of five (5) years professional experience with research and/or manufacturing laboratory equipment/instrumentation within the regulated industry
- Good technical writing skills
- Computer literacy with MS Office applications and CMMS (e.g., Maximo)
- Ability to work independently under minimal guidelines and supervision
- Knowledge of GMP, GDP regulations and ISO standards
- Demonstrated ability troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrumentation
- Clear Communication and Customer Service skills
