Job Summary
Field Service Engineer II responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing sophisticated analytical and scientific instruments across research, industrial, and healthcare settings; provide exceptional customer service, document service activities, and train customers on equipment operation; requires strong electronics and mechanical troubleshooting, ability to read technical documentation and schematics, proficiency with service management software, and willingness to travel up to 50-75% within the assigned territory; safety and quality standards adherence and effective communication are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Degree or Bachelor's Degree with 2 years hands-on experience installing, troubleshooting and repairing complex analytical instruments
- Experience reading and interpreting technical documentation and schematics
- Strong electronics and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50-75% within assigned territory
- Proficiency with service management software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in laboratory environments
- Fluent English; additional languages beneficial
