Job Summary
Field Service Engineer in the Munich area responsible for installing, commissioning, repairing and maintaining medical devices; provide onsite and remote customer support, handle customer inquiries, and deliver basic training to clinical staff; manage spare parts, loan equipment and tools; participate in biomedical engineering activities and stay up to date with product technologies through training and certifications (MCSR and MCST); travel 60% to 80% weekly with 2–4 overnight stays, flexible hours including weekends, and work long periods in hospital environments while ensuring compliance with German work eligibility (no sponsorship required).
Required Qualifications
- Typically 3 to 5 years of field service experience
- Strong technical capability to inspect and repair equipment onsite
- Willingness to travel 60% to 80% weekly with 2 to 4 overnight stays
