Job Summary
Provide high-level service activities including on-site service, depot service, and remote support to customers for protein analysis instruments and aggregation measurement devices. Perform product installation, set-up, assembly, and testing before delivery, while conducting repairs, maintenance, and validation at customer sites. Train customers on instruments and software, and report field activities regularly to the service manager, GM, and sales team. Communicate with customers, internal departments, and headquarters to relay technical trends and assist in generating marketing materials. Maintain customer support information in the Salesforce database. Requires a driver's license, frequent domestic or occasional international travel, and proficiency in English. Required Qualifications
- PC knowledge for instruments, software packages and database products
- Must be a fast learner who is motivated and committed to excellence
- Excellent time management, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Capable and interested in working in a team environment
- 3+ years of experience in field service for life-science, clinical diagnostic or medical market
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Driver's license
- High school graduate or university graduate or above
- Electrical, electronic, or mechanical engineering background or equivalent knowledge
- Intermediate English proficiency for reading English manuals, training at US headquarters, and email correspondence
- Windows PC operation skills for demos and instrument operation
- Interest in cutting-edge analytical instruments and their software with a proactive approach to business and proposal generation
- Preference for candidates who enjoy interacting with people and can respond brightly and effectively
- Requirement of a standard automobile license
- Ability to handle high-frequency domestic travel (half a month) or overseas travel (approximately once a year)

- TOEIC score of 640 or higher
- Japanese native speaker or advanced Japanese speaker
