Field Service Engineer

Job Summary
Provide local support for maintenance, installations, and end-to-end fault troubleshooting of customer and network equipment, including LAN/WAN environments and hardware configuration. Execute network infrastructure implementation by placing orders, staging, and installing telecom data equipment, while repairing and replacing damaged links per standard work instructions. Coordinate with internal functions, partners, suppliers, and third-party contractors for all maintenance and installation activities, ensuring compliance with FOIS policies and SLA terms. Manage data center spares and close coordination with service desks and carriers to meet delivery targets.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work in international environment but with capability to work independently when needed
- Ability to engage and partner with customer and internal staff as required
- Ability to identify problems analytically and solve them to resolution as required and without stress
- Ability to work in (virtual) team environment with internal and external organizations and with customer
- Graduate or a Diploma holder from Technical High School with specialization in IT/Telecom domain or Engineering/ technical degree in telecommunications and/or IT/ICT or equivalent qualifications or proven long experience in similar position
- Formal accreditation in one/ some product areas (like network communication technologies, desktop, peripherals, IT platforms)
- Minimum 1-year Practical work experience in customer facing organizations within telecom or IT/ICT industry high tech/ high level services
- Good level of practiced technical knowledge
- Good virtual teamwork environment practice
- CCNA certifications preferably
- Cisco routers & switches, Nortel switches Modems and multiplexers
- Good understanding of LAN & WAN technologies as per the market trend
- English required, fluency in local languages
