Job Summary
Install, troubleshoot, and repair lasers and systems while demonstrating product knowledge to customers and associates in North America. Provide rotating 24-hour telephone support as needed and participate in initial and ongoing training for existing and new products. Perform extensive travel domestically and internationally, including overnights, with company-provided transportation and per diem. Maintain a valid driver's license and possess strong electrical, computer, and mechanical diagnostic skills. Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years previous experience in field service
- Strong electrical and computer systems background
- Strong diagnostic experience
- Good mechanical proficiency with hand tools
- Precision measurement tools proficiency
- Must be located, or ability to relocate, within 30 minutes of a major International Airport Based out of Portland, Oregon
- Travel 100% travel required, both internationally and domestically
- Must maintain Valid Driver's License
- Ability to obtain Passport
- Overnights required
- Must be available for weekend work, roughly 10-15 weekends a year
Desired Qualifications
- Two year technical degree in engineering or related field
- Candidates fluent in Spanish
