Job Summary
Install and service Hologic products including mammography, bone densitometry, and mini c-arms by performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and software upgrades on-site. Calibrate and optimize equipment for high performance while building relationships with customers to resolve technical issues and minimize downtime. Complete remedial service actions, standard system checks, and hardware/software upgrades per approved policies. Train customers on product operation, manage territory inventory, and return failed parts promptly. Promote service contracts, provide pre- and post-sales support, and respond to inquiries via written, in-person, or telephone channels. Escalate unresolved product problems to service management and submit required paperwork accurately.

- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Associate's degree or equivalent in electronics, computer science or related technical discipline
- 2-4 years' experience in a field service position working with customers to resolve problems related to x-ray, digital imaging or related medical equipment
- Experience designing, installing, or maintaining computer networks
- Strong computer literacy
- Must be proficient with DOS and Windows
- Certified training and/or working knowledge of UNIX /NT/Solaris or other software operating systems
