Job Summary
Service Beckman Coulter products at customer facilities while cultivating relationships and supporting commercial initiatives. Drive a sense of urgency to ensure needs are addressed promptly with an emphasis on a "first time fix" through the problem-solving process, focusing on increased throughput, decreased downtime, regular preventive maintenance, and upgrades. Act as a clear advocate for the customer and a steward for the company. This role reports to the District Service Manager, works remotely to cover the Metro East District and Greater NYC area, and requires overnight travel of 10% to 50%. The hourly range is $31.00 to $38.00, with eligibility for bonus/incentive pay.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in mechanical, electrical, biomedical engineering, life science or equivalent military experience
- 1+ year experience problem solving, diagnosing, or troubleshooting challenges with instrumentation using a variety of methods
- Overnight travel 10% - 50%
- Ability to commute onsite to customer facilities within assigned territory
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to occasionally lift, lower and move up to 50 lbs
