Job Summary
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Mycronic products on customer premises, company facilities, and via telephone while conducting pre-site inspections, preventative maintenance, and system setup. Provide technical expertise to customers, sales staff, and management to resolve hardware failures, performance issues, and user quality improvements. Assist sales representatives with demonstrations, answer technical capability questions, and support meetings and trade shows by installing temporary cabling. Maintain accurate records of support history, submit daily and weekly reports, and establish communication schedules with key account personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school
- Three years related experience with surface mount technology, electronics and/or robotics
- Valid driver's license
- Dependable vehicle
- Mechanical assembly and basic maintenance experience preferred
- Proven mechanical, electrical and computer competency
- Experience or training/certification in computers and Microsoft Windows environments
- Up to 75% travel
