Field Service Engineer

Job Summary
On-site servicing, repair, and installation of STEMCELL instruments in Europe, with travel domestically and internationally to troubleshoot and service instruments across various sites in Germany and German-speaking regions. Provide technical support to customers via telephone, email, and on-site service to minimize downtime. Develop broad knowledge of STEMCELL instruments including remote diagnostic ability, troubleshooting, and repairs of mechanical, hardware, and software-related failures. Support development and use of service and assembly procedures and train new staff; assist with continuous improvement in product design and manufacturing. Manage workday, schedule customer visits, and assist with spare parts inventory management, work scheduling, and budgeting.
Required Qualifications
- Technician with vocational degree in electrical and/or mechanical engineering, B.Eng. or equivalent, M.Eng or equivalent in electrical and/or mechanical engineering.
