Job Summary
Field Service Engineer (FSE) provides expert-level on-site and remote technical support for Flow water-cutting and surface preparation systems, delivering troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair, and technical guidance at customer sites. Travel to customer sites is expected, potentially exceeding 70% including nights, weekends, holidays, and international destinations. Responsibilities include completing service reports, adhering to RMA policies, maintaining product manuals and technical references, identifying parts, liaising with customers and distributors, and providing after-hours support as part of on-call rotations. Requires strong mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic system knowledge; proficient diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities; proficiency with MS Office; and effective communication and interpersonal skills. The role requires willingness to travel internationally (including to Canada) and to learn Flow’s products and procedures quickly.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of field service experience working with robotics, motion control systems, CNC machinery, or similar capital equipment.
