Job Summary
Oversee installation of new or modified machinery at client sites, coordinate test unit setups, and regulate controls for product testing. Examine performance reports and inspect malfunctioning equipment to pinpoint problem nature and extent, then undertake repairs for units not meeting specifications. Analyze findings to identify root causes, propose corrective actions, and collaborate with engineering teams to hasten repairs. Design and conduct equipment operational safety training for team members and clients, while serving as the communication conduit between customers and the firm. Draft corrective action reports and relay issues to management for evaluation.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from a recognized two-year college or technical school
- 6 months to 1 year in a related role or a combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and plumbing diagrams
- Capability to troubleshoot using multi-meters and amp probes
- Experience with programming and adjusting PLCs and VFDs
- Willingness to travel 85% of the time, both domestically and internationally
- Demonstrated mathematical abilities and proficiency in basic arithmetic and geometry
