Job Summary
Field Service Engineer responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of radiology imaging systems (Mammography, Ultrasound, MRI, CT, X-ray) across assigned markets. Responsibilities include basic troubleshooting, installation, preventive maintenance, calibration, setup, QA according to OEM specs, maintaining service records, communicating with customers, and travel to customer sites. Must adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and FDA regulatory requirements, maintain tools and test equipment, work both independently and as part of the team, and demonstrate strong problem-solving, time management, and customer service skills while ensuring timely follow-up and sustained equipment performance.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or Radiology OEM training, Electrical, Technology, equivalent military experience or Associates Degree with 2 or more years’ experience in servicing Diagnostic Imaging equipment.
- Must have experience servicing diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record is required.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
- Proficient level of computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy to understand manner.
