Job Summary
Field Service Engineer specializing in Mass Spectrometry for Roche Diagnostics Australia. Responsibilities include instrument installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, software/hardware modifications, and coordinating field service activities across Roche portfolios. The role requires local, interstate, and occasional international travel, with participation in an on-call roster after standard hours. Candidates should have a tertiary biomedical engineering qualification with 3+ years of field service experience, experience with Lab IT and middleware, and excellent communication skills. Availability to travel as required and eligibility to live/work in Australia is required.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary biomedical engineering or equivalent qualification
- 3+ years of field service engineering experience
- Mass Spectrometry knowledge (preferred)
- Lab IT and middleware systems
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel locally, regionally, nationally and internationally
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service oriented and collaborative
