Job Summary
Deliver onsite technical service at Kuopio Hospital for a minimum of three days per week, performing diagnostics, repairs, calibrations, and functional testing on medical devices. Execute scheduled preventative maintenance and corrective actions to maximize equipment uptime while managing spare parts, calibration processes, and external service partners. Provide technical training and product briefings to clinical staff, document all service activities and compliance data, and travel across Northern Finland to support field operations. This hybrid role requires regular regional travel and maintains a 60% onsite presence at the hospital facility.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Medical, or Telecommunications Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical technology, field service engineering, or a healthcare technical environment
- Valid driving licence
- Fluency in Finnish and English
- Work arrangement: Hybrid role with minimum 60% onsite presence (Kuopio Hospital) and approximately 30% field-based across Northern Finland
- Travel across Northern Finland to support field service operations
- Regular regional travel required
