Job Summary
Diagnose, rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on Linde forklifts and material handling equipment at customer sites within the S40 and S41 postcode area. Perform door-to-door service for vehicles ranging from small pallet trucks to automated trucks while maintaining accurate records via IT systems. Requires a full UK driving licence, experience in plant equipment or vehicle mechanics, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Includes occasional on-call support, paid in addition to salary, with a 40-hour week and overtime opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- experience in at least one of the following areas: Mechanical engineering
- experience in at least one of the following areas: Electrical engineering
- experience in at least one of the following areas: Hydraulics
- NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification
- IT literate
- ability to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders
- full UK driving licence
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Take pride in your work and complete tasks to the highest standard
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- A positive and can-do attitude
- Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the role
- A desire to be a Linde brand ambassador
- Full Forklift Driver Licence
